Charlotte Medley

Charlotte's soul taking music consists of rare spiritual intensity and a melody that encourages people to stop everything and dance.

Charlotte Medley’s accomplishments are many. “Love Me Beautiful,” the title track to her 2011 album of the same name, was an AC chart hit. She has shared stages with Willie Nelson and 3 Doors Down, appeared on Good Morning America, performed across the U.S. and Europe, and written with Tommy Tutone, Fleetwood Mac’s Billy Burnett and Toto’s Bobby Kimball, among many others.

She has released “Just To Let You In,” a single and video showcasing her soulful voice and the power of her writing. It is the first music from an upcoming album to follow in the well-received footsteps of The Fall and Love Me Beautiful.

“I love being back in the studio,” says Medley, who is recording in Nashville and London. “Every session is an exploration, a chance for the ideas that rise out of life and experience to find the best possible musical expression.”

Medley, who has performed at clubs including B. B. King’s and the legendary Bluebird Cafe, is also planning a fall tour. She has been doing a number of benefit concerts and is preparing for an overseas USO tour with Darius Rucker and Kellie Pickler.

Her story begins in Texas, where she has known since she could walk and talk that music was magical, a way to express joy, love and spirituality. She was part of a gospel choir, singing in churches and on television, then built a following on the Texas club and coffeehouse circuit. She moved to Nashville, won a prestigious Battle of the Bands and attracted the attention of top label execs, including legendary producer James Stroud (Clint Black, Tim McGraw), winning a record deal with Dreamworks Records. She went on to record her first album in Los Angeles, and later signed with Sea Bright Records, whose principals included Nile Rodgers (David Bowie, Madonna).

“I feel really blessed to have been able to spend so much of my life making music,” she says. “Every performance, every studio track, is the chance to connect with people and share love and healing.”

And with every performance and record, Charlotte Medley extends that circle of life and music.
